I Told You Not To Trust These Guys

Sen. Arlen Specter switched parties mainly to try to save his seat. I have said numerous times that politicians are only looking out for their own interests, mainly to get re-elected for life. This is just another example of this, few of them have any real beliefs or convictions. We need to put term limits on these guys, maybe then they won't be so busy looking out for themselves and actually do the job they were elected to do. With Sen. Specter's switch the Republicans aren't losing anything because he was more of a Democrat than a Republican.

Sen. Specter said that the Republican party was going farther right. I take a different view, the Republican party has shifted left, just not as fast as the Democrats and Sen. Specter. If you ever have a representative like this, no matter which side they are on, make sure you vote them out of office as they clearly care more about there own hide than doing the job they were elected to do.
